Four suspects involved in a fatal altercation in Marrakech have been arrested by the city’s judicial police. The incident occurred on the Oued Issil bridge near the Sidi Youssef Ben Ali district. The suspects and the victim were drinking together when a dispute erupted. The altercation escalated, resulting in one man falling into the river.
Rescued from drowning, the victim was transported to the Mohammed VI University Hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Police promptly arrested two of the suspects at the scene, while the other two fled but were subsequently apprehended. The suspects are now awaiting trial at the Court of Appeal.
