The mystery surrounding the body discovered in the Sidi Zakour cemetery in Berrechid has been resolved. On Saturday, July 6, police arrested a thirty-year-old man, identified as the main suspect, who had previously evaded justice. The arrest was made possible through coordination with the Direction Générale de la Surveillance du Territoire(DGST).
The investigation began on Wednesday, July 3, when passers-by found the body and alerted the authorities. Forensic examination revealed signs of violence, particularly on the head, indicating a criminal act. The suspect is now in police custody, facing charges of assault and battery resulting in death without intent to kill.
