In the town of Zemamra, 80 km southeast of El Jadida, the judicial police ended the criminal activities of a trio terrorizing local shopkeepers. On Thursday, June 20, the three burglars were brought before the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the El Jadida Court of Appeal and were remanded in custody. Operating since the beginning of the year, the thieves targeted shops, breaking in and making off with the loot. Judicial proceedings are now underway. Two of the three burglars were identified, including a minor. The gang leader, who chose the targets, has been apprehended.
