The businessmen’s meetings were held in preparation for the second session of the Morocco-Azerbaijan Joint Commission, scheduled for the first half of this year.
The delegation met in Casablanca Hassan Sentissi El-Idrissi, President of the Moroccan Association of Exporters (ASMEX), in the presence of the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Morocco Nazim Samadov. The meeting focused on cooperation in the implementation of joint economic and trade projects.
The delegation then met with Turkey’s trade representatives in Casablanca and Rabat, Burcu Ozurgul Colak and Mehmet Ali Oran, as well as the director of the Turkish company BIM Dincer Yazici, for consultations on the state of economic and trade relations in Morocco.
In the same vein, discussions were held with the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco (CGEM), on the economic partnership between the two nations in the sectors of petrochemistry, industry and agriculture.
Another meeting was held with Ali Seddiki, Director General of the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investment and Exports, during which various issues were discussed, including economic and trade projects between the two countries.
The agenda of the visit also included a working session with the President of the Moroccan Federation of Pharmaceutical Industry and Innovation, Mohamed El Bouhmadi, to discuss trade and investment opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.
