These companies are divided into legal persons with 27,812 units and individuals (11,922), said the same source.
By sector, trade accounts for 35.89% of total business creation, followed by construction and public works (BTP) and real estate activities (18.45%), various services (17.25%), transport (9.20%), industries (6,83%), hotels and restaurants (6.37%), the sector of information technology and communication (2.59%), agriculture and fisheries (2.29%) and financial activities (1.14%), says the scoreboard of the OMPIC.
The regional distribution, meanwhile, highlights a dominance of the region Casablanca-Settat with 11,305 companies, ahead of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (5,472), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (5,438), Marrakech-Safi (3.793), Fez-Meknes (3,084), Souss-Massa (2,625), Oriental (2,178), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (1,885), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (1,439), Drâa-Tafilalet (1,128), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (954) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (433).
Regarding the legal form, 62.5% of companies created are limited liability companies with single shareholder (SARLAU), 37.2% of limited liability companies (SARL) and 0.2% of joint stock companies (SA).
