Cement deliveries of members of the Professional Association of Cement Manufacturers (APC) accumulated to the end of June 2022 reached more than 6.506 million tons, compared to 6.809 million for the same period of 2021, a decrease of 4.46%.
In detail, deliveries in the distribution segment were, at the end of June 2022, 3.971 million tons, compared to 4.392 million for the same period last year, a decline of 9.59%, said a statement by Ipsos made on the basis of data from members of the APC.
As for the ready-mixed concrete segment (RMC), the cumulative deliveries at the end of June 2022 is 1.323 million tons, an increase of 8.84% compared to the same period 2021 where sales amounted to 1.216 million tons, reports the statement based on data from Asment Temara, Ciments de l’Atlas, Ciments du Maroc and LafargeHolcim Morocco.
The deliveries of the segments of Building and Infrastructure, were, for their part, located, at the end of June 2022, at 296.779 tons (-5,56%) and 300.190 tons (+7,35%), respectively, against 314.263 tons and 279.630 tons at the same period of the previous year.
Regarding the segment of prefabricated (PREFA), the same source reported 614,292 tons of deliveries to the end of June 2022, against 606,894 tons the year before, a growth in sales of 1.22%.
