Sebta: closure of the last building housing Moroccans who entered in May

The spokesman for the government of Sebta, Alberto Gaitán, announced that the last of the 39 Moroccans who remained there have been transferred to the Temporary Residence Center for Immigrants, reports the Spanish website Cope. Also, 9 other residents of the city who were housed in the building were transferred by social services.
The city authorities have therefore permanently closed the social assistance resource set up following the irregular entry last May, it adds, while the facilities located in the warehouses of Tarajal have been closed.
Thus, the assistance provided so far by the Red Cross has also ceased this Friday. The First Vice President of Sebta thanked this organization for “the collaboration, dedication, professionalism and efficient work” it has provided during these months.
