The Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Younes Sekkouri, and the Israeli Minister of Economy and Industry, Orna Barbivay, emphasized on Monday in Rabat, the willingness to develop win-win cooperation relations between Morocco and Israel.
Speaking on this occasion, Sekkouri noted that since the formalization of relations between Morocco and Israel, the two countries have been able to work in a sustained and accelerated.”The relations that bind the two countries are beyond collaboration and important economic cooperation,” noted Sekkouri.
For his part, Orna Barbivay, who is on a three-day working visit to the Kingdom, said that relations between the two countries, based on a long history, are the basis for moving towards a common future.In this wake, she expressed the willingness of his country to develop a win-win cooperation relationship with Morocco.
Earlier in the day, Orna Barbivay met with the Minister of Economy and Finance, Fettah Alaoui, to discuss the promotion of economic and financial cooperation.The Israeli minister also discussed industrial and commercial cooperation with the Minister of Industry and Trade, Riyad Mezzour.
The two parties signed an economic cooperation agreement aimed, among other things, at creating Qualified Industrial Zones in Morocco that will make it possible to concretize the tripartite Morocco-Israel-United States cooperation in the field of trade and investment and to facilitate the direct access of the goods produced in these Zones to the American market
