In front of the elected representatives of the City Council, the mayor of Casablanca, Nabila Rmili, announced that Casa Baia will mobilize an envelope for the project of the management of public toilets and green spaces in the metropolis During the mandates of the different mayors who succeeded one another, the non-existence of public toilets in Casablanca revived the debates.
From now on, public toilets will be built with the surplus of the operating budget of “Casa Baia”, amounting to 30 million dirhams in 2021. “This amount was returned to us, and we decided to devote it to public toilets in Casablanca, and green spaces,” explained the mayor to the elected officials of the City.
But if today the mayor of the economic metropolis of Morocco has mentioned the realization of public toilets for Casablanca, which would be located in several places in the city, these places have not yet been defined.
As a reminder, Casa Aménagement had installed public toilets last year in the United Nations square in the city center. Still closed to this day, they are not operational at all.
