A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad said Morocco is optimistic and relaxed about the positive developments to reconcile the members of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The statement adds that, based on the strong ties of brotherhood and sincere love that attach HM King Mohammed VI to his brothers the Kings and Princes of the Arab Gulf countries, the Kingdom expresses its hope to find a final agreement to turn the page on the conflict and regain peace among the Gulf countries. Thus, strengthening stability in the region and unity at the Arab level.
The Ministry said that the Kingdom of Morocco, based on its strong historical relations with all the Arab Gulf countries, highly appreciates the efforts of the brotherly state of Kuwait to bring closer the opinions and reconcile the conflicting parties. The Ministry also appreciates the positive role of the United States in this regard.
