Mohamed Ihattaren, the Moroccan-Dutch midfielder of PSV Eindhoven, is among the 40 finalists of the Golden Boy. The Italian media Tuttosport, unveiled its list of finalists for the prestigious youth award, this Wednesday, September 16.
A panel composed of 30 European journalists from major sports media will select the best under-21 player of the year.
Ihattaren is one of the 11 players of African origin who are among the 40 finalists. These include Alphonso Davies (Liberia/Canada-Bayern Munich), Ansu Fati (Guinea-Bissau/Spain-FC Barcelona) and Eduardo Camavinga (France/Angola, Stade Rennais).
