The production unit of the company marketing the mineral water “Sidi Hrazem” does not contain any contamination source, said the Ministry of Health.
In a clarification, this Thursday, the ministry stresses that the information recently conveyed by some media concerning the non-compliance of “Sidi Hrazem” water to the standards in force are related to facts that date back to more than ten months.
Inspection missions have been carried out by the central and regional services of the ministry, the last of which was carried out in mid-January. These missions were carried out in order to control the application by the mineral water company “Sidi Hrazem” of the sanitary safety provisions agreed upon after the outbreak of the case of bacterial contamination of the water in question, notes the press release.
On the basis of the negative results of bacteriological analyses carried out by the reference laboratory of the Ministry of Health, the absence of any source of contamination has been confirmed, which means that “everything is now under control”, it is reported.
The company was immediately authorized to reactivate its bottling lines and resume normal distribution of its products, the same source specifies.
